Certain “nautas” (internet users) still accept institutional nuances, so it is very likely they will want to fulfill their civic duty (a non-real obligation) to vote.
How a nauta votes
- They approach the polling station, choose an envelope, and enter the private booth.
- They insert a photo of Monero, Luca Prodan, the Sex Pistols, or the face of Jim Carrey.
- They leave and return home.
That does NOT count as a vote for anyone, and it covers the civic duty to vote because spoiling your ballot is legal and a constitutional right.
It is very likely the only REAL way to change anything — Argentina has been “voting badly” for almost 100 years.
Choosing between the frying pan and the fire is a false dilemma, which means it is something that makes no sense.
Politics exists to lie
And that is why it is a game we have openly decided NOT to participate in. In my case, I only voted the first time by splitting my ticket, and the second time I sent in the photo of Luca:
By age ~23, I understood how things work and stopped wasting my time validating institutional looting and the greatest mockery the system directs at the people.
I haven’t paid a penny in fines nor will I, and so far no one has asked me if I voted in any of the 5 countries I’ve been to.
(The necessary infrastructure and the political cost of complicating life for those who don’t vote is several times higher than what they would gain if they tried to force us to do it).
Nobody knows what they are doing
In primary elections, the majority thinks they are choosing between one party and another, when in reality those elections define who will represent each of them.
This allows them to completely change their speech for the final electoral campaign to continue manipulating public opinion.
Nobody understands anything, but everyone does it. That is how society functions, and that is how the lives of millions of people are destroyed, simultaneously.
