Wigington’s work is now gaining traction after the White House announced it supports a plan to block sunlight.
The White House has opened the door to a bold plan to prevent sunlight from hitting the Earth’s surface in an attempt to stop global warming.
Despite some scientists warning that the effort could have untold side effects by altering the chemical composition of the atmosphere, President Joe Biden’s administration admitted it is open to the idea, which has never before been attempted.
In a report 2 published Friday by the White House, officials suggested limiting sunlight to rapidly cool the planet, a process known as solar radiation modification (SRM)…
The report noted several ways authorities could seek to achieve SRM, all of which have potentially devastating consequences if they backfire.
Undertaking the gargantuan task could have serious ramifications for weather patterns and food supply, which in turn would affect biodiversity, geopolitics, and health.
Intentional geoengineering, including solar dimming, has been occurring for more than 70 years and has expanded exponentially in more recent years.
A geoengineering map, 5 created by the ETC Group and the Heinrich Boell Foundation, shows how geoengineering projects have expanded from about 300 in 2012 to over 1700 in 2023.
However, what they are not readily admitting is that:
- Geoengineering is as dangerous as climate change itself.
- Geoengineering is responsible for the most catastrophic changes in our climate.
One of the key ingredients in these particle trails is nanometer-sized aluminum, which is neurotoxic to animals and humans.
Aluminum also kills the root systems of plants and trees, as well as the soil microbiome.
It also alters the pH of the soil, making it difficult for some crops to grow.
