Google keeps user data (that it should delete)

Google has revealed its privacy data regarding abortions today, and it shows that employees of the tech giant have searched for sensitive information about medical care and patient abortions in the United States. The records, spanning from 2018 through the end of 2020, were released in response to a lawsuit from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

Among the details included in the records are the identities of the individuals whose searches were reviewed, when the searches were performed, how they were conducted, and in some cases, detailed information about patients’ illnesses or conditions and their hospital visit information was also included.

The records reveal that Google employees have searched for information on patients across the country, from California to New York, and have often focused on individuals seeking information about contraceptives or abortion.

Daily Mail has reported that the amount of available data that Google stores is equivalent to a 7-foot, 9-inch tall stack of paper (every two weeks) :poop:
