Surveillance under Surveillance shows where surveillance cameras are located around the world.
It allows you to see where they are located and, if the information is available, what type they are or the area they observe.
The map is freely and voluntarily completed using OpenStreetMaps.
The list keeps us alert; there are countries with very few reports but others monitored to the extreme (!)
Surveillance in Africa
Few cameras reported, no technological invasion in countries that remain “underdeveloped” (unmonitored).
Surveillance in America
Cameras concentrated in capitals and large cities. Buenos Aires leads with over 1500 reports.
Surveillance in the USA and Canada
Cameras everywhere. Several thousand reports in all states, high concentration in cities.
