I rarely mention other communities on Criptonautas, because I founded this space realizing that out there we find:
- Kids and not-so-kids playing at being traders, miners, gurus, mentors, or millionaires.
- Spaces packed with junk info where everything goes, nothing is better, a donkey is as good as a professor.
- Controlled bitcoiner groups run by business people and politicians, who sooner or later censor and manipulate information to their advantage.
That last part is very dangerous, and unfortunately the internet has naturalized censorship in a very stealthy way ![]()
5 We are alerting you about the use of violence through the most cowardly and harmful method that exists.
What is censorship?
Censorship is intrinsically linked to freedom of expression, and that means, in a nutshell, that we can say what we think.
It might sound natural, but rivers of blood were shed so that today we can have the relative freedom we enjoy in that regard.
If you have 20 or 30 minutes, you can read these links to understand what we are talking about.
https://flip.org.co/micrositios/informe-2018/destacados.html
And the list goes on, because censorship is the simplest way to control people:
Here we work by and for the people, so we know firsthand what happens to us.
Most people are not willing to change; they think they cannot.
And we see that the greater part of the world works all day and can barely save some money which they then lose to inflation or volatility…
So blocking conversations prevents people from changing
And it perpetuates a setup where a few decide for the many.
This is how political parties, dictators, presidents, domestic violence, and even teenage drug addiction are sustained.
Censorship is for cowards
And if there is one thing that defines me, it’s having some real backbone.
5 That’s why you will ALWAYS see me respond to acts of censorship or oppression.
5
5 Not out of something personal, but fundamental.
Because I’m the one who asks if everything is alright or if there is a problem, if a cop is staring too intimidatingly at someone.
I am the one who publicly exposes business ties that keep and will keep people’s money:
5 Yes, the Belo scam is confirmed ![]()
I’m also the one who checks investment funds and finds that Ripio, Money on Chain, Bitso, Bitpay, Blockstream, Buda, ChainAnalysis, Circle, Coinbase, Decentraland, Foundry, Grayscale, Kraken, Lightning, Ledger, and even Ripple, share the same investment group:
I question what smells dirty, fake, forced, or contradictory
5 And those in power don’t like that, because it’s the first thing I question.
I am going to delete my social media accounts live, to prove that others will be able to do so later and to teach how to do it.
But while I prepare for that moment, this is my cover photo:
And of course, a Facebook cover photo doesn’t represent what we do, but in my case I try to convey value in everything I do ![]()
I don’t work and will never work for others, because I’ve learned to sustain myself independently and without relying on third parties.
So I’ve been working pro bono for nearly three years for our collective freedom here at Criptonautas.
I gave up the only thing I received as a salary a year and a half ago, because I preferred that we do this together.
And we are doing it:
I enjoy my money by spending it, not by saving or HODLing so that bankers or bitcoiners can be millionaires.
Why do we use this forum?
Basically, because we have nothing to hide and no opinions to annul.
We can answer any questions anyone brings our way with arguments and data.
The platform where you are reading this message has been around for 8 years and appeared on the internet the exact same year as Monero. Today there are 30,000 communities on its system.
They created Discourse to revive and foster civilized communication on the internet (quoted directly from its developers).
I’m bringing you a very interesting debate among the founders, managers, and moderators of the Discourse forum, which they present to the world as “Meta”.
There we can see that they are very clear about what a community is, what types of communities exist, and why we DO NOT choose social networks:
Social networks do not generate bonds between people, human relationships, or information flow.
Social Networks Decide
You get informed, attend events, buy or sell, rent, chat, and even “learn” (here lies the problem) on social networks.
You even invest based on what you read on social networks.
These nefarious characters have little to nothing to do with Satoshi Nakamoto, Bitcoin, decentralization, or our freedom.
They Shut Down Human Connections
I published something about Facebook 13 years ago, back when blogs and social networks barely existed and Satoshi was hoarding 1 million BTC:
5 It is titled 1984 and I didn’t remember that Blogger was still active until I looked for that image (the blog is a personal piece from a time when I learned to love myself the hard way).
I never liked Facebook because I value freedom, and I foresaw that they would work by manipulating public opinion…
But it took me a few years to understand that this is the modus operandi of bitcoiners and liberals to seize and maintain power.

Censoring the word Monero on Bitcointalk

Bitcoiner “moderadores” editing posts and censoring
Freedom is a fundamental right
And it recognizes no nuances.
- We either have freedom of expression or we have censorship.
- We either have private money or controlled money.
5 It is neither dignified, moral, ethical, nor correct to deliberately use tools that restrict people’s freedom.
And in a world where Philip Morris unpunishedly murders 500,000 people a year, we are left with only our morality and our own ethics to relate to one another.
Political parties, dictators, corporations have all been censored.
I understand that censorship is institutional today, because it always has been. Today it is patented by Facebook and that’s all well and good, that’s why we use Discourse.
Yet that tool is used without notice, explicit reason, or criteria by the largest Spanish-speaking bitcoiner group to censor my messages in what is supposed to be a group for exchanging ideas or opinions among people.
What freedom or decentralization are “liberals” and “libertarians” trying to sell me when they silence people at will?
https://medium.com/@johnblocke/r-bitcoin-censorship-revisited-58d5b1bdcd64
And it is a very serious problem that, in the silliness of everyday life, we rarely manage to spot because they make sure to silence and erase traces.
This is silent, much like the decisions of politicians or business owners that generate more and more misery in the world every day. Or domestic violence that stays behind closed doors or as a filed police report.
You will notice there that they deleted comments that could somehow be harmful to Bitcoin.
Mining centralization, virtually zero privacy, monetary injection from Tether (an extremely dirty bitcoiner company).
And not with the intention of picking a fight, but of finding areas for improvement or potential attack vectors that we could openly debate.
Among those images, we find proof that upon failing to silence me by banning me for a month 3 consecutive times…
They moved on to using Facebook’s magical tool:
A single button from the Facebook moderation panel ensures people don’t see my comments, and nobody even notices.
But when sharing my posts, some require moderation because they are directly hidden, even if it looks like they aren’t.
That is Facebook’s patented censorship method in action:
And perhaps your detachment from reality makes you think this is unimportant, but social networks are defining the future of the majority.
And they will keep doing so, whether you accept it or not:
So you can at least unfollow the local pigs and start reviewing your sources more closely.
Because it’s totally fine if you want to buy pesos, dollars, clay sculptures, or instruments.
You can trade, you can save, HODL, and do whatever the hell you want (!)
Without reading banking, state, or bitcoiner propaganda. Without being called a shitcoiner, fake bitcoiner, or whatever else they use to manipulate your decisions.
Time is wise
And YOU MUST ALWAYS QUESTION THINGS because that is the only thing that can change the wretched situation we are socially in.
Here you can see what censorship looks like LIVE (you can watch in full-screen)
You can retweet and comment
5 And it is very important that you do!
This isn’t Maslatón talking nonsense; we have the world controlled by a handful, and freely spreading information is the only thing that can change it.
